I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my weekend which consisted of an afternoon of street impromptu hypno with my dear friend and hypnotist Lara on Saturday, followed by my Sunday yoga class and more street impromptu hypno. I am fast becoming a street hypno junkie, I tell you!
These two practices, seemingly distinct, share the common thread of facilitating personal growth, connection, and well-being.
Holding space for yoga students goes beyond providing a physical environment for their practice. It involves creating a safe and nurturing space where individuals can explore their bodies, minds, and spirits , creating a safe space that encourages vulnerability, self-acceptance, and growth. Today I was privileged to hold this space for my student through asanas (poses) pranayama (breathwork) and meditation, guiding them on their journey of self-discovery, enabling them to release physical tension, calm their minds, and connect with their innermost selves for healing to occur and guide students to embrace self-compassion, and let go of emotional pain and anything hindering their well-being.
I strive to extend support beyond the mat, providing resources and guidance incorporating mindfulness practices into their everyday lives to empowering students and cultivating a sense of wholeness and resilience.
Impromptu street hypnosis sessions has become a delightful extension to my toolkit, it allows me to connect with people who may not have considered hypnosis before and to be honest, the joy of street impromptu hypnosis is contagious! Witnessing the astonishment and wonder on peoples faces (kudos to them for trying something new and fun! )
In just a few moments, I can ignite a spark of inspiration, awaken potential and encourage individuals to explore the depths of their own minds. It is in this moment that we see first hand the transformative power of hypnosis, as people shed limiting beliefs and tap into their inner strength and confidence. I have no doubt it will have a profound impact on their day (and lives) like I’ve been told…!
So this weekend has been a fulfilling one for me, being part of this rippling effect of healing, joy and transformation.
